Operation Hunger Relief
Just imagine how hard it would be for you to seek help to feed your family. Many people are dealing with that decision at this very moment. It is a very emotional and difficult position to be in. Facing the reality that you cannot make ends meet.
Unfortunately, there are many in people this crisis.What if I told you that people were being turned away and that the Pantry had no food? Does this sound like a CRISIS to you? It is! That's why I am asking you to join me TODAY in meeting this immediate NEED.
Together we can provide "HUNGER RELIEF" and HOPE! AMI Do-it Best Home Center in cooperation with Hunger, Inc. is conducting a FOOD & FUND DRIVE! HOW you can HELP? Since 1983 Hunger, Inc. has been distributing food at no cost to its clients. The purpose of Hunger, Inc. is to provide food to those with an immediate need.
The clients who come to Hunger, Inc. for help have faced a variety of CRISIS such as unemployment, unexpected medical bills or a reduction in their income.
Hunger, Inc. does not give out MONEY, pays no bills and does not deliver. Last year more than 57,000 lbs. of food were provided to families in need by the pantry. The food was used to feed more than 5,300 people. Last year the Pantry met the needs of the people it serves for only $1.58 per person. Your GIFT of $15.80 will make it possible to serve 10 people, or $158 will meet the needs of 100.
You can help bridge the gap once again by making a TAX DEDUCTIBLE FINANCIAL GIFT or Food Donation TODAY! (at the point of U.S. 31 & Madison Ave. across from White Castle)
Here are some suggestions of ITEMS needed at this time; oatmeal, cereal, beans, juice, peanut butter, jelly, canned meats, vegetables, & canned fruit, noodles, spaghetti & sauces, macaroni & cheese, rice, sugar, pudding, jello, dry milk, all stages of infant food & formulas, baby needs, paper products, tooth paste, deodor-ant, bar soap, and shampoo.
